Kelly was introduced to Iyengar Yoga as a teenager and continued as a general, senior level student for many years before entering into the Yoga Centre Toronto Teacher Training Program in 2012. Kelly is passionate about the methodology and philosophy of Iyengar yoga and the fact that it is a discipline available to everyone regardless of illness, injury and ability. The “direct instruction – direct application” teaching format of Iyengar Yoga speaks to all in an effort to enable the students to achieve mobility, stability, strength and alignment. Each student’s practice is their own practice, at their own physical availability, with the structure of a class plan at each level.
